With Murrayfield VII still looking for their first win of the season, this was a close fought encounter, with both teams fighting hard for a victory. Young William Skinner won 2 of his 3 mathes losing to the experinaced P. Daly in his first match, but comming onto his game to beat G Hunter comfortably and eventually pulling through against young Alex Duff. Mark Davidson beat  Alex in his first match, but despite comming back from 2-0 down was eventually beaten by P.Daly 12 - 10 in the 5th. This results was to prove pivitol in the match. G Hunter proved too strong for Mark winning comfortably 3-0. New commer William Petit found it hard and was beaten in all three matches, he made his opponents work and with a bit if experiance should pick up more games as the season goes on.
