In the Edinburgh Championships earlier in the December, Bob Sterling and Colin Dalgleish both picked up 2 titles. Hamish Barrie was Runner up in Division 3 event.

Colin won the Junior and Cadet trophy for the 2nd year	Bob won the Division 2 and the vets 2 trophies

On Sunday 30th Nov 2008 at Meadowmill , Tranent, Colin Dalgleish won all his matches in the Cadet (U15) category and took the first Scottish title of the season.William Skinner came 17th which was a good result given it is his 1st year as a cadet.

The Edinburgh Championships will be held at Meadowmill on Sunday 7th December.
